Make A Difference
Everyone has the ability to change the world for the better. That means YOU TOO! No matter who you are, where you are, what you do, or what you have, you can change the world and make a difference. Typically, we only hear about the “Heavy Hitters,” the billionaires and celebrities, the Nobel Prize winners and the captains of industry. However, those are not the only people who make a difference. Even just one person can make a difference.
How many celebrities can you name in the entertainment industry (actors, singers, etc.)? Probably dozens, maybe hundreds. How many professional athletes can you name? Probably a bunch. How about school teachers? How about physicians? How about firemen? Cops? Paramedics? The farmers who grow your food? The mechanic who checks out the bus that takes your kids to school? How many of these people can you name? The best K-12 teacher in the country makes less than the worst NFL player. Who has a greater impact on the world? Who is really shaping the future in a direct and important way?
You don’t have to be famous or rich to be powerful… in the true sense of power, not power to dominate the world, but the power to improve it. Whether you choose to believe in it or act on it or not, you are a POWERHOUSE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE. You are a series of amazing events just waiting to start happening.
